When/How Should I Book?
Right Now! If you book in advance you are assured of being able to confirm exactly the flights and accommodations that you want. If you wait until the last minute you may have less flexibility and be stuck with a flight itinerary that is less than desirable. The deposit is very reasonable and you can pay the balance over time with one of our flexible payment plans, or pay just the deposit now and nothing until the balance is due July 8, 2020.

Will I need a passport?
Yes. A valid passport is required for ALL persons traveling. Passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months past your return date.

Can I book on my own or stay at another resort?
You can, however, we do recommend utilizing Escape With Us Vacations for the following reasons:
• Booking through one central agent with knowledge of the couple's wedding plans and venue will help provide peace of mind and the ability to contact one person for all of your questions and concerns. Also, the bride and groom have taken the time to set up a room block and signed a contract for those rooms. Rooms booked elsewhere will not be included in their room block, therefore, won't count towards fulfilling their contract.
• Booking with Escape With Us Vacations will most likely get you the best price for your trip. If somehow you were to find a lower price for the same package (all components are exactly the same), they will work to match the rate. This allows you to be booked as part of the wedding group and receive the amenities and services that come with that.

What do I need to make my reservation?
• Dates you'd like to travel
• Names of travelers as listed on your passport
• Birthdates
• Credit card information for the deposit, including billing address and phone number.

Other questions? We don't mind so feel free to contact us at any time! Looking forward to working with each and every one of you?

Q and A Message Related to COVID-19 from Escape With Us Vacations

As we're sure you’re aware, COVID-19 has been significantly impacting the travel industry.  There is no question, this is a serious situation for everybody and we want you to know we will do everything we can to help you navigate this.  In the meantime, here are a few of our most frequently asked Q and A’s along with some additional travel tips.

Q:  When will we be allowed to travel again and/or should I book future travel now?
A:  Oh how we wish we knew the answer to this frequently asked question! The obvious answer is there is no answer.  Our answer is when experts say so. Until then our focus remains on staying abreast of the facts regarding COVID-19, the effects it’s having on the travel industry in general and protecting our individual clients.

Q:  Can I - Should I book future travel now?
A:  We are accepting new reservations for fall 2020 and beyond. Not only are we seeing record low pricing with the airlines, we're also seeing unprecedented flexible change and cancellation policies for tickets purchased now. One thing we know for sure is that these low fares will not last.  The airlines, hotels and tour operators have taken a huge hit financially, therefore, have a lot of lost revenue to make up.  You can be sure prices will increase the second the demand is back.

Q:  I already have something booked for future travel.  What should I do?
A:  Elective changes for travel after May 31, 2020 will be subject to change fees and penalties. Most of our clients are leaving their plans as is and have adopted a “wait and see” approach for trips June 1 and beyond. We are closely monitoring government and industry changes and will notify you if your travel is impacted.

As the coronavirus situation evolves, we would like you to know that the health and safety of our clients is always top of mind and we are trained to monitor situations like weather disruptions, health situations or travel warnings that might impact our clients’ travel plans.  We are working hard to stay up-to-date on all the facts so that we can help address any of your travel concerns.  We are also in constant contact with our suppliers (i.e. airlines, hotels, tour operators and cruise lines) to understand their latest policies and terms to benefit all of our clients whose travel has been impacted.

Some practical advice:

  • We ALWAYS recommend purchasing Travel Insurance.  Travel Insurance protects your trip investment from those unforeseen circumstances that may arise before, during or after your trip. Trip Insurance options range from basic (generally only cover emergency medical expenses) to comprehensive (typically include coverage for trip cancellation, lost luggage, flight delays, public liability, and other expenses).  We also offer Cancel For Any reason insurance. Clients that do not purchase insurance are subject to any penalties and/or fees charged by the vendor. Your agent will provide you with different coverage options and pricing.
  • Probably the most important thing you can do is follow the CDC recommendations for health precautions before, during and after travel:
    • Use a disinfecting wipe to clean hard surfaces.
    • Wash your hands often, especially before eating.
    • If soap and water aren’t available, clean hands with hand sanitizer (containing at least 60% alcohol).
    • Don’t touch your eyes, nose, or mouth. If you need to touch your face, make sure your hands are clean.
    • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing.
    • Try to avoid contact with people who are sick.
    • If you are sick, stay home or in your hotel room, unless you need medical care.

Two things we know for sure.  During a time with so much uncertainty and airline, hotel and tour operators are constantly updating and revising their Covid-19 travel policies, having an expert travel advisor by your side is a MUST.  We truly have your best interest at heart.  Second, planning a trip and having something to look forward to majorly ups our happiness quotient!  And we can all use a little of that!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.  We are all being tested with this unprecedented situation but together we’ll get through it.
